Our Approach to Weight Loss


While focusing on each person's total health, we have developed valuable expertise in teaching people what they need to know to manage their weight and overall health. We emphasize the skills and behaviors needed to live a healthier, happier life. Each patient is assigned a professionally trained health educator / coach who guides the learning of essential behavioral skills while receiving necessary medical interventions.

The entire program requires patient compliance with specific strategies. The patients work towards measurable goals while learning important life-long skills in weight and health management. The program is data-driven, and each patient's results are collected and analyzed to ensure program quality and to continuously monitor the program's success.

The multidisciplinary staff has specialized training in behavior modification, weight measurement, and exercise science. This team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, dieticians, exercise specialists, and health educators.

Philosophy

Successful weight management is a matter of learning and practicing new skills - not willpower.   The program focuses on teaching new skills that will improve both weight management and overall health.
