SHAKES

Basic Mixing Instructions
HMR® MEAL REPLACEMENTS CAN BE PREPARED in a variety of ways to make delicious and filling shakes, hot drinks, puddings and more. Before you get started, it will be helpful to master the basic mixing instructions. We encourage you to sample different mixing methods as you try the recipes in this book.

BLENDER DIRECTIONS
Although HMR shakes can be prepared in many ways, mixing them in a blender is the way most HMR dieters prefer. The blender creates the most filling diet drink!

  1. Pour cold water into a blender. Begin mixing on lowest speed.
  2. While blender is on, add HMR shake mix and blend about 10 seconds.
  3. Add ice cubes, one at a time (replace blender cover between each ice cube).
  4. While blender is covered, continue to blend on lowest speed for 1-1½ minutes until ice is thoroughly blended and shake is smooth. *

    * For an extra-thick shake, blend on high speed for an additional 10 seconds.

NOTE: Blenders are different depending on the make and model. Ice cubes will also be different sizes. The guidelines below are general recommendations. We encourage you to experiment with the amount of water and number of ice cubes to make your shake exactly the way you like!
